Job Description: North Vernon Church of the Nazarene is seeking a dynamic and creative Worship and Communications Associate Pastor. This role involves leading the congregation in worship, managing church communications, and supporting the senior pastor in various ministry activities. The ideal candidate will have a passion for worship, strong communication skills, and a heart for serving the church community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and plan weekly worship services, including song selection, coordinating with musicians, and ensuring a cohesive worship experience.
  • Oversee all church communications, including social media, website content, newsletters, and promotional materials.
  • Collaborate with the senior pastor and other church leaders to support the church’s vision and mission.
  • Engage with the congregation to foster spiritual growth and community involvement.
  • Organize and participate in church events, outreach programs, and special services.
  • Provide pastoral care and counseling as needed.

Qualifications:

  • A deep commitment to Jesus Christ and the mission of the Church of the Nazarene.
  • Proven experience in leading worship and managing church communications.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in using multimedia and communication tools.
