Job Title: Worship Pastor

Location: First Baptist Church of Morristown

Job Description: First Baptist Church of Morristown is seeking a dedicated and passionate Worship Pastor to lead our congregation in glorifying God and making disciples of Jesus Christ. The Worship Pastor will play a pivotal role in creating an atmosphere of worship that celebrates the Lord, supports ministry efforts, reaches the unsaved, and fosters spiritual growth within the church community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, lead, and oversee all aspects of the worship services, ensuring they are engaging and spiritually enriching.
• Collaborate with church leadership and volunteers to create a worship experience that aligns with the church’s mission and vision.
• Equip and mentor worship team members, including musicians, vocalists, and technical support staff.
• Develop and implement strategies to engage the congregation in worship, ministry, and outreach activities.
• Intercede on behalf of the congregation, offering prayer support and spiritual guidance.
• Foster a sense of fellowship and community within the worship team and the broader church body.
• Provide training and resources in God’s Word to encourage holy living and discipleship.

Qualifications:

• A deep commitment to Jesus Christ and the mission of the church.
• Proven experience in leading worship and managing worship teams.
• Strong musical and vocal skills, with the ability to play an instrument preferred.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and engage the congregation in worship.
• A degree in theology, ministry, or a related field is preferred.
