Worship Pastor – Lavon Drive Baptist Church – Garland, TX

The Opportunity
We are seeking a Worship Pastor to lead our church in Christ-centered, Spirit-led worship. This role will provide leadership for our worship ministry, which features a blend of contemporary and traditional styles supported by a choir, orchestra, and worship team. The Worship Pastor will play a vital role in shaping the worship life of the church, equipping volunteers, and creating an atmosphere that draws people into the presence of God.

Key Responsibilities
The Worship Pastor will plan and lead weekly worship services, direct the choir and orchestra, oversee the worship team, and work with the pastoral staff to align worship with the overall vision of the church. Responsibilities include recruiting and training musicians and vocalists, selecting music that is biblically grounded and theologically sound, and fostering an environment of excellence and authenticity in worship.

Qualifications
Candidates should demonstrate a strong personal faith in Christ, a clear call to worship ministry, and alignment with the mission and values of Lavon Drive Baptist Church. Experience in leading worship and directing musicians is preferred. Skills in both vocal and instrumental leadership, along with the ability to build and inspire teams, are highly desirable.
