The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Pastor to lead Seymour First Wesleyan Church into its next chapter of ministry. The Senior Pastor will serve as the primary teacher, shepherd, and visionary leader of the congregation, equipping the church to live out its mission with passion and clarity. This is a unique opportunity for a leader who loves people, preaches God’s Word with conviction, and is eager to guide a congregation toward spiritual growth and community impact.
Key Responsibilities
The Senior Pastor will provide strong biblical preaching and teaching, oversee the spiritual direction of the church, and equip leaders and volunteers for ministry. This role includes shepherding the congregation through pastoral care, casting vision for outreach and discipleship, and fostering a culture of prayer, worship, and authentic community.
Qualifications
Candidates should demonstrate a clear call to pastoral ministry, alignment with Wesleyan theology and values, and a deep commitment to Scripture and prayer. Strong skills in preaching, leadership, and relational ministry are essential. Previous pastoral or ministry leadership experience is preferred. Above all, the Senior Pastor must exhibit humility, integrity, and a genuine love for people.
